You may want to add a little more or less based on your love of salt. Start with 1 teaspoon and work your way up.
Stir in your caramelized onions.
Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 4 hours
You can eat it immediately but the flavors are better if given some time to meld. Overnight is best!
